Cardboard Brick Blocks Hi Is It Safe To Use Corrugated Cardboard As Fuel For A Wood Burner?

Hi Is it safe to use corrugated cardboard as fuel for a wood burner? - cardboard brick blocks

We have access to a lot of corrugated board and miracles would destroy them in order and fuel bricks or fire? Or is used for mounting the dangerous fumes from the glue?

As already mentioned, it would not really want to use cardboard than just fuel - it burns so fast that you have to take your time to be.

One possibility would be to use it until it is compressed briquettes - it burns slowly, much like wood. However, many problems - you have to tear the paper or cardboard, damp, press it into briquettes, then dry. It's okay if you have time on your hands. To improve the flammability of the finished agglomerates a little sodium chloride (hardware) could add to the soaking water.

Here is a typical briquette machine:

I do not think that it is dangerous, but I do not recommend the use of a large part of them. In my experience, do not burn very well, so that a heap of ashes and send back a heap of ashes by the fireplace.
